What are some destinations in Michigan that are like Lake of the Ozarks? We would need boating rental as well.?

Whether you are just looking for a large manmade lake or a good recreation lake, I suggest going to http://Michigan.org.
Houghton Lake, Higgins Lake, any of the Great Lakes should have boat and/or pontoon rentals. There may also be some houseboat rentals available within the State.
If your looking for a sailing experience, I sail out of Muskegon and sail Muskegon lake and Lake Michigan. We have great beaches as well as some very fine deals on rental housing+ Michigan’s Adventure Amusement Park here in my hometown.
